GLENWOOD OAKS RIB & CHOP HOUSE
As you see it today, evolved from a long history that began over a half-century ago. Originally opened by William and Hilda D'Amico in 1925, it was first known as Glenwood Gardens. It was re-christened Gasper's Spa in 1937 when Gasper Turlo purchased the restaurant. The restaurant changed hands again in 1954 with the new owners, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ryan, who renamed it Poor Richard's. Poor Richard's received a distinguished reputation under the Ryans by offering a sumptuous buffet that delighted diners from near and far.

It's not too early to make your reservation. Administrative Assistants Day is April 21st, and the best way we know how to show appreciation for hard work and loyalty is a dinner at Glenwood Oaks. Ask your server about our Gold embossed Gift Certificates. Mothers Day is Sunday May 9th. Treat mom to her favorite restaurant. For the best times and tables, Please make your reservations soon. Our New Sunday Champagne Brunch. Please join us between 11:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. every Sunday for a wonderful spread of delicious hot and cold dishes prepared fresh by our chefs. We'll even have and a chef's station for "make own omelets" and a Carving station. Please ask Waitress or Hostess for details. Easter Sunday Dinner will be waitress service only.
